He is howeer generalizing "some" of his comments towards one game in particular in a few of his comments, and said comments have been addressed already.
lets focus on Airsoft and how we can improve it within the community.
Karma_ and m102404 have great ideas. It would be really neat to have something like that put on. It could be a great way to bridge the gap between skirmishers and MILSIM.

I am not generalizing from 1 game... I am summarizing from many.
It is a trend that people demand large elaborate scenarios with lots of players .. and then treat the game like a skirmish ...
not everyone is cut out or has the mind set necessary to engage in a military simulation.. even if they want to.
Far far too many people are under the misapprehension that live action video games are what milsim should be like.
people want constant action.. despite the fact that they can only actually maintain operations for 4 hours before they are spent like a 16 year old boy with a hooker.
People want a solid command structure, and then ignore it,
People want defined objectives then don't bother trying to achieve them.
and then complain in the AAR about how command was fucked and there were not enough objectives.
Many players are so self centered and so focused on their own "fun" that they can't see that their "fun" is spoiling every one else's... or maybe they just don't care.
you know... when you get the right group, with the right leadership some really great things can happen... but just a few of the wrong group can ruin it for everyone.
