Airsoft Canada - View Single Post - MP5 mags Umarex MP5 / Toptech TGM-A5 ?

Hi folks,

My wife's Umarex MP5 (Toptech TGM-A5) came with a hi-cap mag and it works splendidly.

I picked up a couple of G&P MP5 midcap mags for her from airsoft parts, but they don't feed very reliably at all and we're looking for other options.

Have any owners of this same gun (not other MP5s) tested or tried other compatible mags, and if so, what were your feeding results? I've been looking at the 8-pack of MAG brand mp5 mags on airsoft parts, but I'm unsure if they'll be compatible or not and was hoping to hear some results from actual users before pulling the trigger, so to speak.

The G&P ones could have fooled me in terms of dimensions if were to have guessed compatibility, but I guess engineering tolerances aren't so great between brands. Slight mag incompatibilities seem to be a never-ending struggle across my collection of AEGs..
