One advantage with the one listed on ebay is that being made out of foam it is lighter then a real bunker of sandbags and can easily be moved around. You can paint it what ever colour you like.
Now if you're going to make sand bags I suggest using playsand, it's easier to work with and depending where you buy it from it may be pre bagged.
