You dont need a CNC gearbox. A TM gearbox shell will get the job done if you have a STS installed. If it's CRACKED and a STS is in pace you can still get a fairly consistent 500 from the gearbox.

If you want >500 and reliable shell STS plus any major brand of shell Systema, G&P etc.

Gear's you should run siegetek max torque which are able to handle springs in the >4joule range. My sets of siegeteks are basically brand new after very heavy use that in my opinion would have destroyed several sets of inferior gears.

If you buy Quality bearings you can run your gun at high velocities without problems. You will be spending some ~30 dollars per bearing from a reliable RC supplier or a place like Mcmaster Carr or Boca Bearings. If you don't know what you are doing Bushings.

Spring. Find discontinued Airsoft surgeon stage 5 or 6. or you will have to order custom springs from the small one off shops.

Motor is going to cost you a small fortune for a 600fps gun. as is the trigger control system.


For standard 430. Standard ratio gears will do the job if you have a decent motor and power supply. Dboy and JG make gearboxes straight from the factory that in my opinion are good enough for a couple seasons of solid play without having to do any major upgrade or replacement. Generally speaking Shimming is the the worst aspect of these gearboxes.
