I'm am exactly the same size as you and I have been using the small/medium plate carrier with the cummerbund for a year now. I love it, great fitting, can carry a lot of thing.
I have my mag pouch, admin pouch, emt pouch and utility on my pc with fake plate and it's very comfortable for playing.
Nothing to say more about it.
