So I did what you suggested to no avail, the cylinder head is still rubbing on the hop up unit just ever so slightly.
I also went into the cylinder itself, added teflon underneath the o-ring on the piston creating a way better seal and also a spot of teflon on the cylinder head threads for good measure. I re-greased everything using a white lithium grease. Everything is working fine aside from it being a little rough pushing the cylinder head into the hop up.
I was curious if anyone had any feedback on
this upgrade. For $20 it seems like a great deal.
Also I've seen mixed reviews on that upgrade, some say the spring is enough to bust off the trigger sear after 50-100 shots, others say they have put much more through and it is still working great. I don't want to drop another $200 on a zero trigger for the moment, perhaps in the future, but I don't object to dropping another $20 for a new trigger sear should the need arise. Right now the gun is shooting perfectly, aside from I would like to up the FPS so I can shoot farther now haha.
