Unscrew the outerbarrel (remove the set screw under it first!) and reposition the nylon ring inside the receiver.
Reassemble with the bolt in place, you should not have anymore problems with the bolt.
For the barrel, it depends how long too long. If you have a 507mm barrel, you can install an L96 flash hider that will cover it. More needs a silencer.
BBs above .30 is good. I found that .30 is the bare minimum to shoot in a sniper rifle.
