Holy fuckstick Batman.
Simple solution.
Remove barrel assembly.
Remove Set screw
Soak Flashider/Barrel in Acetone.
Problem solved all for the price of a 5 dollar can of acetone.
If you cant remove the set screw then soak it in the acetone with it still attached. you will be able to litterally yank it free from the plastic flashider after it has dissolved it enough.
You will need around 13 times the volume of the flashider to completely dissolve it. So approximately 2 cups. Also leave it in a well ventilated space preferably outdoors and wear gloves, a mask of sorts (like a doctors mask at least), and some eye wear.
