My Element U94 Style PTT isn't transmitting, only receiving. I hadn't used it prior to this point, and when I tried I found this issue with it.

Does anyone have this style of PTT for a Kenwood 2 pin that they could open up and take a picture of? I know nothing about radio wiring, but thought maybe they soldered the wires wrong?

I tired the headset on a different PTT I've got for a Motorola 1 pin, and it worked. I also tried using a phone style handset on the radio, and it worked. Lastly I tried straight radio to radio.

I also checked to see if the connectors where the headset pin goes in were not making contact, so I pushed them in gently, and they all make firm contact, but this still didn't solve the problem.

Anyone have any thoughts?
