Hi, I'm sure you're very excited about the concept of airsoft and many of ASC's policies seem unnessessary and unimportant to you. But please look at it from out side:
Because of the way that the majority of Canadians see gun it would look very bad if children/ young adults abused airsoft guns for crime etc.
While these policies are strict they have allowed us to control who we give access to these guns to, thus helping to keep them out of the wrong hands. If you had invested thousands of dollars and many years to a hobby and someone were to do something stupic with airsoft and cause the law to come down on our sport you would not be happy.
This is basically what we are trying to do protect our hobby.
