go to a range and see how fast you can shoot a rifle with a scope on it.
If you wanted something as realistic as possible, you should have bought a bolt action rifle

Shooting my buddy's .270 bolt action with a scope, I can get a round off every 2 seconds tops accurately. But his muzzle brake sucks, feels like your getting kicked in the face everytime you fire.
