With USPS, tracking number is optionnal...lol, and even if you ahve it, its useless, becasue they dont update it.... I've had 4 items that were sent in the past few weeks, and the tracking never updated once (not even appear on the USPS website, not even on the CP website) and they all arrived safe and sound...
