I think we should be careful not to confuse the fact that TOY GUNS got onto the FRT because of horribly worded and ill thought-out laws actually confers onto them any real world power beyond those of a TOY GUN.
At the end of the day they'll be the same toy guns which shoot field-legal velocities and the only difference between them is the build quality and finish.
1. Do we care about this kid's fate? No.
2. If pursuing this argument with the father on other forums (or anyone else who doesn't want to listen) doing anything positive for airsoft? No.
3. Should you drop it and walk away? Most definitely.
