Airsoft Canada - View Single Post - M4 BBs not feeding, unless mag held in (update mar 15, resolved)

Recently acquired an M4, D-boys body, G&P Mechbox, not sure on hop-up.

The problem is when I shoot it, the magazine doesn't fully engage with the hop-up when in a resting position, but if I press up or forwards on the magazine, it engages.
Not sure on magazine brand, but is there anything I can do to make the hop-up chamber sit lower?
As far as I can figure out no due to it sitting up against the gearbox and being held in place by the upper receiver.
