The gouges are on the bolt catch side right? If so they are from the bolt catch as it is stamped steel and has sharp edges. I ground the sharp edges off and that stopped happening .. I also have a cracked cylinder and have a replacement coming (thanks for your help george!) but fuck i can't for the life of me remove the roll pins and the regular pin at the back of the bolt to remove the gas chamber assembly ... Amos any tips? Another problem with the MP9's is that the part 153 is attached to a spring that is a tad to strong and prevents the bolt from completely returning to battery Which in turn doesn't allow the hammer to function. Simply stretching the spring will fix this.
