Sorry boys, I have been meaning to do a short video showing how the new SR AKS74U worked and doing some testings and disassembly and review, but it has been a crazy month for this business, as in other retail business.
When you shoot your last round, the bolt will go all the way back, and forward again. But instead of going all the way forward and closing the ejection port, it actually will get stuck about 2/3 of the way forward. The only way to close the ejection port now is by removing the empty magazine.
Once the empty magazine is removed, the bolt will snap right back to 100% forward position. I haven't shot a real steel AK74, but as far as I know, this is the way they "SHOULD" be.
