Okay, I just got off the phone with ECHO1 and we need to make a correction to this list I started building here. While speaking of ECHO1 M14s now we need to make a distinction between original ECHO1 M14s and the “New Version ECHO1 M14”. The New Version is 100% the same as TM and Cyma.

So going with the list I started above the updated version would look like this.

Type 1 M14 Gear box fits: TM, Cyma and “New Version ECHO1” Airsoft replicas.
Type 2 M14 gear box fits: G&G, CA Airsoft replicas.
Type 3 M14 gear box fits "orignal ECHO1", Kart, A&K, AGM, Star Airsoft replicas.

Also I was advised that I'm really not going to find any aftermarket parts for the Type 3s and OEM parts will be limited to those on hand. This means for a correct air nozzle one might need to take a longer nozzle and cut it down to fit to size. In fact I was advised if at all possible avoid working on the TYPE 3s if possible. One possible solution is to take the furniture from one of these Type 3s and upgrade it with a Type 1 gear box and make my own air nozzle.
