The Real Sword Type 56-1 is just awesome (if you want a russian style AK47S, you would need to modify it slightly by cutting the top of the hooded front sight - apart for that the build materials (the quality of the steel used (it is actual steel since it can be blued) - the quality of the wood) used are the same as for a real AK - dimension wise, it is the same dimension too)
I did not have the chance to try out a VFC; but, I can tell you that I would not trade my RS Type 56-1 for any other AKs (I simply love it
