Personally I am using .25 because as much as you can have longer range with heavier BBs, the velocity is so low that even indoor lots of people are not calling thier hits.
I have a velocity of around 230 FPS with .25 and I am hitting people at 100 feet in the face with all 3 BBs hitting their face. That is pretty sick, the grouping remains tight even at such a range, I have the Smith & Wesson full stock all black version (signature below) but it is the same as the clear Canadian tire except with a stock and all black.
I tried with .28 and I did not had the same performance the velocity was too low and accuracy was not as good. For my shottie .25 is the perfect weight for accuracy, distance and FPS. So I recommand people using different weights BBs starting from ,25 and I would really not go higher than ,30 and see for themselves.
This is now my favorite gun indoor and by a longshot... the best investment that I have made in airsoft!
