That and given that the cost would be *very* high per player, you would want participants who stay in character and play the simulation properly. Stuff like this is high fidelity in part because of the realistic responses of the participants. You would also need the skills those soldiers have in order to make the simulation work, and that means training and most airsoft players aren't willing to put that kind of work into their past time. A lot of people underestimate the time, energy, effort and skill it takes to do that sort of stuff.
