Since you were not entirely clear on your compatibility issue I just wanted to toss this in there to cover all possibilities just in case your buffer tube slides onto the stock tube but wobbles.

If the buffer tube is sliding fully onto the stock tube but wobbling you could always attempt to fill up the difference with some grip tape or something. Unless you feel like coating your stock tube in JB weld and painstaking grinding and filing it to the correct size.

Glue is not an option because if you were to ever rear wire or decide to change to a single point rear plate sling; a glued on buffer tube would be a nightmare.
