1. Remove top strap (the little strip)
2. Remove the e-clip on the end of the piston rod
3. Slide/wiggle the fake bolt back and "pry" the sides out of the small black top cylinder. It just "unhooks" from the little channels that it runs back and forth in...there's little tabs that hold it in. Go easy, requires more wiggling than force. "prying" is too strong really.

When you get that stuff off...the black top piston comes off (slides back). These are often stiff.

There'll be a (used to be lime green...don't know the colour now) rubber seal under that top piston. That seal matches up with a hole in the main cylinder.

Note the orientation/position of that seal...it will go in upside down/backwards...but it doesn't seal properly if you do that. If it pops out before you get a good look at it, there should be two indented radii to it....the smaller radius matches up with the top piston, the larger with the main piston.

Once all the top crap is off...the rest of it is just like a regular V2 mechbox

Assemble in reverse...pay attention to getting that seal to sit just right.
