I just meant that when let's say air is cooled, the little molecules want to get closer together for body heat.....I'm sure they just wanna be held too.

When air is heated, it's like the molecules are trying to cuddle after having sex in 39C weather.
How about keeping it simple?

As temps decreases, gas volume/internal outward pressure decreases.

As temps increase, gas volume/internal outward pressure increases.
