I've found most all of those "x-position grips" to be shit. Same with any of the "bipod vertgrips". Craptastic.
Just buy a fixed vert grip (stubby, long, etc) or go without one. The magpul angled grip is solid...but I don't like the feel of it. Some guys that have them say it takes getting used to.
