It's pretty much toast. A buddy it going to have a peek at it, but I will not keep my hopes up.
I cannot get said parts from the US distributer. So I've decided I'll just paint it "all purdy like" and hang it on the wall.
Next time: I'll wait it out and buy an decent one 2nd hand.
