Ya, fair enough, to them a water balloon is more dangerous than a small solid plastic ball travelling at a higher velocity, so I won't argue with them or the insurance companies. I've played at a couple PB fields over the years, once near Ottawa, three times at Mirabel Paintball, non of them care what you wear for eye protection, as long as it'll withstand a BB. And we sign waivers for those that host the event, not with the field owner, so maybe that's the difference.
