Agreed. The goal of most BOBs is to get out quick with the necessities. A threeday pay is quite large, so depending on how much you're putting in, it may be too large for it all.
Pantac, and I know this sounds silly as it's a chinese airsoft brand, makes an excellent 3-day pack. Look into it.
I managed to score one in a trade, totaling about $40.
