Thanks guys. I'll check on both the trigger spring and safety arm and report back.
Just a note: the AEG is pure stock, no modifications. Also, as I pull the trigger back in semi-auto mode I can hear a faint click as it reaches the back. Once it locks, the trigger needs to physically be moved forward again.
