I've seen this done a few times, but only once successfully (the rest petered out). The p90 mag is a new idea that should work great, if not find a small beta ak mag and see if that is doable to put a cylindical shroud overtop of. As for the gun itself, I've had some with plastic mechboxes and they faired pretty well. However you are in luck as I have a TM ak mechbox shell (Ver. 3 i believe) that I am not using. Full metal and should work perfectly with your kraken parts, PM me if your interested.
