mine is not $3k...lol...not 12 neither....

I'd probably go with SD slide + barrel, that should be closer to $150 for the setup and use the rest to buy a inner barrel and recoil spring setup....can't really cheap out too much I think since you'll endup re-buying if it doesn't....and regardless what you do, avoid Guarder IMO....
