For MP5, I'd still go old school with the 3 point sling. I used it a lot with these type of weapon and I like it a lot.
Especially for a MP5, wich has several dedicated sling systeme to chose from. It will hold your weapon nicely when not in use and still help you deploy the weapon quickly.
I'm not a fan of 1 point unless it's a very good one that allow you to hang your weapon away from your workspace (front and sidearm side).
