What's it do? It nulls the chance of the nozzle cracking/splitting/exploding while shooting the gun on propane. THe Marui nozzle is known to fail under propane use, particularly if a metal slide and/or an enhanced recoil spring is also thrown in to the mix.

The plastic slide can last a while, but on a 5.1, it will eventually fail around the rear sight.

A metal slide does add weight and reduces gas efficiency a bit, as well as ROF, but the gas efficiency issue is almost negligible and ROF can be recovered with enhanced recoil springs.



I also agree with CDN_Stalker - spend money on good ammo. It makes quite a significant difference.
