tsh bud, It snowed so badly here that you couldnt even go sledding, they'd get stuck from all the powder, snow didnt pack at all, drifts were high enough to jump off and actually get air time, snow was halfway up my windows and it was a snowstorm every second day and sometimes not letting up for like a week. average was -46 with windchill and like 80kmh winds. I had to drive soo many kids to school cause their busses werent running half the winter. atleast you guys get trees and snow festivals and all that other great stuff, you step outside here, and you'd look around for 3 seconds, see nothing but the grey blowing snow thats cutting your face as you stand there, look at your burried truck and be like "not even going to try" theres nothing to stop the wind or drifts here. thats why we all drive big trucks, we have to.
I live in northern alberta too, 10 hour drive and I can go watch the polar bears die out, lol
