The G36 is also an option. I have a G36E (the full size one) and although it's longer than a G3-SG1, it's only marginally heavier than an M4. The G36C is really short. I personally don't like them but they're still a great gun.
As for MP7, unless you're going to get a Marui don't bother. And the gun really isn't practical for outdoors.
