I have a g36K and i personally love it, however if you are getting a G36 be sure to watch out for the mags because they are alot bigger and may not fit into a vest which you may be carrying. But onto G36C is a great choice its small, lightweight and there are alot of people using them these days. JG, TM, CA, SRC all make G36C. I would personally recommend the TM or the CA, but they are a bit more expensive. The JG if you want to keep the 400 price range.

Edit: And all airsoft G36 versions have a foldable stock.
