You could attach it using a black epoxy resin. It would hold you could just have to ensure it stays under compression when its curing. Its metal to plastic so its not going to be 100% infalliuble.

An automotive parts store might have the adhesive they use to attach CB or industrial GPS antenneas. In aviation its called PRC and its made by 3M. Couldn't tell you what its called for cars, but I'd imagine 3M would be behind it aswell.

Regular old Lapage 5 Minute Epoky (Canadian Tire $7) probably would work too, you just might have to do a paint touch up to cover the finish color its it leaks.
