Mine isn't horrible, but we were out for my bachelor party at XT, I was still fairly new to airsoft so I had very little gear. I can into a close combat with a enemy player, exchanged full auto bursts with all his shots hitting my right hand, with one right on the base of one of my fingernails.
Needless to say, I got to keep my nail, but it didn't look very nice for wedding photos a week later. Gloves are essential.
