MICH 2001 replica
Hey guys,
There's few MICH 2001 on the web... I'm looking for the best replica. Price range of 50-70$... with or without shipping. I'll probably install a new Ops-Core retention system later but I'm looking for the best deal to start a sweet helmet. Thanks for your help! |
The J-Tech is known to be the best replica out there... As for where to buy it, I don't remember... Google would be your friend ;)
|
Boom Arms are by far the best but they are definitely out of that price range...
|
@ Primus : Thanks a lot, might not be in my price range but with the quality layers, goggle straps, nvg mount and with additionnal cushions it might be the perfect deal for me.
http://www.boomarms.com/sc/showcatal...&sKeyword=2001 @ Sexy Conker : On a quick search I haven't found J-Tech helmet... http://www.tacticaljtech.com/index.htm |
Sexy Conker? O rly?
Review of a J-Tech: http://airsoft-news.eu/e107_plugins/...php?content.80 Infos: http://www.shop2000.com.tw/shop2000_...n=45678&page=1 http://www.tacticalclub.com/front/ph...php?cate_no=31 They do refer to the official jtech website you linked... but I can't find it either. Maybe it's discontinued. |
I was looking true E-Bay and i was tempted a couple of weeks back.

Phil_black, I've got this one (but the 2000 version), which I've bought for significantly cheaper on RSOV.
I removed half the velcro and changed the mount for a 3-hole Norotos (the holes are the same), so this Ops-Core one is somewhere, useless in the bottom of a box... I've also installed issue goggle retention straps. However, the padding and straps are much better than most china replicas, and for the price i've paid (something like 45$ ship included), IMHO that was a steal. But if you're got the money, a J-Tech or Boom Arms are definitely a step higher. |
Thanks a lot Conker!
I'll probably send an email to J-Tech to see if their 2001 is discontinued. Or else, I'll get more money and go for a Boom Arms. |
UPDATE :
I'm having a hard time reaching BoomArms... sent few emails without any anwser... so : What would be my second best MICH 2001 Replica? Thanks |
I got my MICH 2002 from Boomarms. It looks good but I couldn't use it. To heavy for a replica, at least for me. I drop it on the floor one time and I got a nice small hole on the shell.
I'm used to use helmet for snowboard etc... but this one from boomarms is to heavy. So maybe the MICH 2001 from Boomarms will have the same problem. As I said before, at least for me. ;) Anyway, If you find a nice MICH 2001 don't forget to post here. I'm thinking about getting one in the future but first I need the sell mine. :( |
Don't worry.. so much effort to find the best deal... I'll post the result here ;)
FUUUUUU I wish I could get the 2001 from BoomArms. |
UPDATE :
Since I did not receive any mails from J-Tech or BoomArms I bought the replica on RSOV. Also, I bought some goggle rentention strap, goggle and MS-2000 replica. This is going to be awesome! :D |
