WE Scar barrel extension
 

Anyone that has a WE Scar got a barrel extension? I am considering this one here http://www.airsoftbuddy.com/index_ep...roducts_id=513

Does + mean CW and - means CCW? My Scar's flash hider screws off CW and on CCW, so should I be getting + or -?

Also, I do not have an extended inner barrel that would run through the extension barrel, and I want to avoid the extra costs of getting one if I don't have to.
Would I have any issues with shooting without one? I've heard that with things like suppressors and barrel extensions, it's best to get an extended inner barrel as well. Is that just because it can improve accuracy because of a longer inner barrel? So that it's more like..."I want to improve the accuracy of my rifle, so I'll get an extended inner barrel...oh but wait now there's an ugly tube sticking out of my flash hider...I'll just grab a suppressor or extended barrel to cover it then."
I am really only worrying about whether the BB shot out of the normal CQB length inner barrel will bounce off the inside of the barrel extension.

Any suggestions?

It is the way you screw it on that counts.

So you will need a -14mm or CCW one.

You don't HAVE to extend the inner. Just be carefull when setting the hop-up, as BBs can hit the top and jam in the outerbarrel.

Airsoftglobal sell both a 358mm inner barrel with SCAR barrel extension for 49$. Currently out of stock doh...

Wow I didnt know WE actually made a CCW barrel for the scar mine is a CW barrel or 14mm + I bought the 14mm - kit since most flash hiders comes in CCW and I thought they only made one version i was hoping it was a CCW to flash hider and CW to barrel.

Im planning to buy an adapter but if someone wants this kit CCW to barrel and CCW to flash hider comes with a tri lug flash hider just PM me.

Well mine is CW barrel and flash hider is CW but the funny thing is that the extension barrel they sold is CCW for both sides its made by WE and says for we scar with a (-) sign in front so I guess they made CCW barrels previously or this is an epic fail from WE. Makes me want to put this thing on a vice but I cant bear seing the tri lug hider go to waste.

As Ive said hope the other guys read about this before they buy.
