battery and charger

hey, so i have a small connnector battery. and a charger with small connectors. i just got a new gun and it takes big connector batteries and it came with a big battery, so i need to by a new charger with big connectors, or can i just buy big connectors and switch them on the charger when i need to?

Just get a large to mini adapter so you can charge your large battery. Another option is to rewire everything to deans.

Most quality chargers will have the options for both Large and Small Tamiya connectors, what I like to call "Gator Clamps" that look like this, and sometimes a Deans end also.

If your using the standard wall charger I highly suggest you upgrade your charger as something so seemingly insignificant can ruin a battery. Ive been using a charger that seemed fine for a while, with then finding out its got a reputation as a battery cooker. If you are unable to upgrade for a while then I suggest you get an adapter, Male Tamiya large to Female Tamiya small. If you have some electrical solder and a soldering iron it can be simple, or if you are unsure or cant get the parts made you can order a ready made one from www.cheapbatterypacks.com While your there you can look for a better charger ;)
