Wouxun Radio Help!
 

Hello hello, I am not sure if this is in the right section, If not, Mods feel free to move it.

Here is my problem.
I got my Radio today, It is a Wouxun KG-689. I bought the Programing cable with it. When I tried to connect my radio to my PC and try to retrieve the info of the Radio, the program Says ''Fail Connect With Transceiver''.

I tried several times and always the same story.
I am pretty sure someone has the same radio here and can help me on this!

Any help would be really appreciated!
And yes, I have the correct programing Software for the KG-689.

Can you program it manually? You can do that with most if not all programmable radios I believe.

Yes I can but its really retarded, Its very long and weird lol.

Anyway, I finally got the Software to work!


I have another question to someone who as it.
How the hell do you change channel? I mean, for the pre-set channel?
The User manual is pretty much useless lol.
