putting wood kit on kraken
 

i just bought a wood kit for my kraken and i was wondering how you remove the plastic stock hand grip and forgrip.

There should be screw on the underside of the barrel at the front of the gas tube. Unscrew that and the gas tube should slide forward and you can take the grips off.

You also might have to remove the cleaning rod before doing this if there is one present, but pulling down and forwards.

and to remove the upper grip you have to take off the take down lever (the thing that looks like a lever just under the front sight)

ok so how do you get the cleaning rod out.because its in the way of the screw that you have to undo to get the fre grips off.

Gripping the front most end of the rod, pull down and and out (away from the trigger end of the gun).
