Rear wire G&G?
 

Is it possible to wire a G&G M4A1 so its compatible with a crane stock? Is it more balanced to have the battery in the stock or the handguard? I like the look of the crane stock with a ras but not a big fan of PEQ's.

if it's long enough, bend the wires inside the mechbox towards the back, clip the extra length and get a new t-type outlet, if it isn't get another wiring kit

oh yeah if its front wired now you'll have plenty of extra wire length. just bend it around in the mechbox towards the back, or if you want it to be clean, just melt the solder on the switch assy, and reposition the wires to be pointing out the back of the mechbox. then just run it into the crane stock.

It's better to rewire to the rear than simply run a really long front wire to the back.

You'll want the front to be heavier than the rear, the pointability is better that way. But if you really want to put battery in a crane stock, it's certainly possible to rear wire a M4.

Thanks all, this has been bugging me for the longest time. I dont currently own an AEG but was interested in buying a G&G from 007 or Mach1. Any suggestions?

M4's are great for upgrades and there very common.

I suggest learning to rewire the gun yourself. It is the best way to get to know your gun and how all the parts work and what not.:p

This is the reason why i'm drawn to the M4, with countless variations and style, you can create a very beautiful gun. I'm always checking the M4/M16 thread to see the unique setup that people are rocking.

This is very true, you can only learn so much from asc thread and youtube. Nothing beats trial and error, but in costly AEG, error might produce some expensive paper weight.:cry:
