Yupper!

CrackShot, where'd you get the kurz patrone, or is it something else?

CrackShot 07137 May 6th, 2009 22:56

Oh, its the Shoei Stg44 replica with Kurz Patrone- Not AEG version.

Boche May 6th, 2009 23:08

ahh, I see......nice!

aZn_triXta07 May 7th, 2009 00:37

Isn't the shoei a classic?

sortie39 May 8th, 2009 01:58

shoei actually made two types of mp44,one is AEG,and the other is a model-gun by firing blank caps.
seems there is a cap mp44 above.

Memel, who or where were the white stg44 pouches used? Kind of caught my eye and was curious.

I got those repro pouches from MilitaryTour.com a few years ago, but they came in a weird colour(blu-ish, if I recall correctly) , something that I'd never seen before with real pouches from WW2. So, I tried my hand at fading them with a diluted bleach mixture. I dunked them in and before I could count to two they were a light grey, it was real fast (too much bleach, haha).

They're a little too light for my taste, but alot better than the original colour.

Perhaps a darker grey dye job is in order?

Drunk_Albertan May 9th, 2009 15:04

Maybe, how could you dye it without dying or damaging the leather though?

Donster May 9th, 2009 15:07

glad to know ill have that guarding my back while i use my Kar98k when i finally get my WWII kit together and come to a game with you guys ;)

Donster May 9th, 2009 15:19

i forgot to add, i love the weathering look on your gun memel! looks amazing. i almost decided to buy one, but i am instead going to go with an M4. i am still holding out for my favourite WWII gun of all time: G43. If they make an all wood/metal version of that, its as good as sold to me. i will upgrade that to rival my M14 and then i can play WWII all year round.
Winter/Fall = G43
Spring/Summer = Kar98k

Good question.....I'd have to try it and see what happens, haha.

Donster, it looks like we're going to have an excellent season of WW2 airsoft, get your shit together quickly and join us. And don't feel your equipment has to be squared away 100% before you come out to a game. I'm missing lots of bits and pieces and so are others, but we still attend games. Plus, most of us have extra pieces to lend (like in your case, an Mp40, incase you get into a CQB pickle with that k98, haha).
