MP5 shooting only on Full Auto
 

Hey guys,

I got a old TM MP5A5 here that only shoots Full auto even when the selector switch is on Semi. Safe still works. I can't really figure out what the problem is here. Cut off Lever isn't worn, and the spring that attaches to the selector plate is in place.

If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it.

It's either the selector plate, the selector switch plate, or the cutoff lever.

Yeah, it can only be one of those 3 things really. If it is consistent full auto, as in, functions just the same as any aeg would when set to auto, except on both semi and auto, it must be an issue with one of those 3 things. You'll have to see if the cutoff lever is actually being engaged while in semi.
