G 36 Upgrade

Hey, just a quick question here, I have a pretty much stock CA G-36 and am planning on upgrading it to a M120 spring for outdoor games...are there any other parts that I should upgrade? Will the M120 be to strong with stock internals?
Any help would be, well helpfull lol.

Don't know what your local field limits are...but you stand a good chance of going over 400fps w/ 0.20g bbs (the typical field limits around here).

CA motors aren't the greatest and the M120 won't help it last any longer...

If you're running a mini battery...performance (i.e. trigger response and ROF) will be less than enthusiastic with a M120 spring

You might want to consider a bearing spring guide (version 3)...Modify makes a good one. If you replace the spring guide, you'll be able to drop down to a weaker spring, still hit close to 400fps and you're motor/battery/response will be better. Modify makes great springs...a S100 would probably put you at 370-380-ish...a S110 would probably between 390-400ish.

If you're stock piston is in good shape...I'd continue to run it...although others would say replace it. If you do, a setup with a Modify full tooth polycarbonate piston and Modify bearing poly piston head is a good solid option.

Otherwise...just make sure the shimming is good, take out any stock CA grease and regrease it...and you'll be good to go.

Hope that helps,

Tys
