Batteries?
Hey all, i've recently purchased a Classic Army SCAR-L from the classifieds. Now i just need to find a battery to fit the buttstock. It's wired for a mini Tamiya, but i'm trying to find out which one would fit. i'm looking at this: http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwol...l?prodID=25963
Would this fit? thanks! |
Yes sir.

Thank you sir. :)

would reccomend converting to deans for beter performance and a more reliable connection
|
yeah, i've heard good things about deans, but that'll be down the road aways, when i've finally recovered from the financial bludgeoning buying my first AEG and all the necessary crap involved. :D However, i also wanted to ask, is this a decent charger? http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...oducts_id=1030

For your SCAR, you might consider to get 9.6 V battery to give you more ROF. |
Thank you, sir. I've heard though that using a 9.6V in a gun designed for an 8.4V can wear out the gearbox rather quickly. I don't currently have the cash to upgrade, and the weapon i'm buying is stock.

you CA SCAR-L is metal busing and their internal are very good so it should be able to handle 9.6 V. I used 11.1 Lipo battery in my CA MP5A3, I won't bother to go back yet to 9.6 V plus 9.6 won't be able to move my motor, no even a click since those gun are heavy upgrade. It's just my 0.2 cent. It's all up to you. |
Very true. I suppose it'll come down to what i can get ahold of, however, if the internals can handle it, i may just look for a 9.6. thanks alot for the advice guys!

ive got a ca scar light and a 9.6 mini wont fit in the butt stock so used the 8.4 which is correct for the gun and fits perfect
