Ebay Banned
 

Well, This the first time I have EVER had a issue with a retailer.

So I get my tax return and planned on finally getting gear.
I see Ebay banned has almost everything I need. spare a new selector switch.

So I dump about 400 CDN on them.(March 2nd)
A few DAYS go by and no tracking number. so, I request one.
They quickly respond with one that doesn't work. not under Hong Kong post or Canada (they gave me the Hong Kong site).
So I e-mail them about it and they respond.
"Please check later"
Ok,No problem. It might take a day or two.

A week later. Still nothing. So I ask. If not only has my order been shipped but if they could check the tracking number again as it doesn't work. I get this.

"it was shipped out

Ok, umm what about the tracking number. That doesn't work.

so I figure f-it ill wait until next Friday :/.

Checking every day with the same tracking number, notta.

So Today (march 13th/09) I E-mail them again.

"Ok,My order number is 23628 now I know how tracking numbers work so please don't tell me to "check it later" I have been checking it for the last two weeks almost.
ether you wrote the tracking number down wrong or you have not sent it.

the tracking number you gave me was CP812833269HK And it does NOT show up under both postal sites you gave me.
Hell, Ehobby asia's order I placed two days later not only gave me a tracking number that worked. but arrived today.
Were as yours. is still no were to be seen,tracked or heard of.

Please double check the tracking number and resend it to me."

so ummm. tracking number? Notta, and yes, My Ehobby Asia Whom I hear is WORSE then Ebaybanned came in without an issue.
And for the record I was WORRIED about Ehobby,Not Ebaybanned.

And Nothing on my purchase was restricted.

Ebay Banned is not a retailer on ASC, moved to general.

Dont worry it'll get to you, It sometimes takes 3-4 weeks. Depending on how busy they are. But rest assured it'll arrive, my tracking number didnt show up on the Canada post website till it was in Calgary.

best thing is to just relax and keep emailing them
it will get to you
it may sound like a hassel (which it is) but you will get your stuff
i bugged them for over a week because they havent runed my payed order through yet
i got my order with in a week since they shipped it

Start a Paypal dispute, that will light a fire under their asses, so to speak.

Poor them, constructive bitching at its best.

i have made 4 orders from them in the last year they do screw up the tracking and they do take the "slow boat" so to speak on when it gets here but.... the wait and incomitence is what you get from this hong kong retailer with the goodish prices.

Ebaybanned is like that, slow, not very helpful and a bitch to deal with.

Unlike dealing with Evike, at least you'll get your stuff. Its shipped via regular airmale and will usually take 10-20 business days to get to you (unless CBSA decides to be a pain), so just sit back and relax.


And eHobby is awesome, dunno why people complain so much about em.

As soon as you file a Paypal dispute, they are quick to provide. ;)

I have always gotten my stuff..it may take 3-4 weeks..who cares..it gets here eventually. This generation of I want it and I want it now is just incredible. Have some patience people. There are enough accounts of EB on ASC and they all say the SAME THING, every one of them. I have never requested a tracking number from them but it always get's here without a paypal dispute or a multitude of emails to EB to demand better service. I think what some of you forget is the cultural differences between them and us here in the west. Their business etiquette is lax to say the least but in the end they always seem to come through. Same thing goes for the Customs and CP threads ...damn..it's the price of doing business outside of Canada. There is NOTHING free in life and paying duty an taxes is just one of those nasty little things that us as adults have to face up to. <end> Rant</end>

I do not know what issues people have had with Paul and Co. but I have never had an issue with Ebaybanned.

Over the last year and a half me and my buddy have placed at least 20 orders, some over $300 per, and they all showed up at my door either within 6 working days or before. A big (2'X2') box of gear arrived in 4 business days!

I don't know if I got the order picker at the warehouse who cares about his job or what because other people have apparently experienced issues with them.

If they put it in the mailbox on their end, it will get to you soon. You just have to ensure that they did indeed ship it out and that it didn't fall through the cracks.

And this I were the nice tracking number comes in. witch does not work.
This order is above 250$ CDN so you figure he would at least make sure I feel safe about it

I never had a problem with anyone @ ebanned it helps that I can communicate to them in Chinese.
