Forum Suggestion!
 

I noticed first of all there isn't a suggestion thread haha.

Well I was thinking for the sugesstion that since ASC is such a big community now, I think the community base deserves a bit of eye candy =D
Meaning a new forum skin.
I'm not talking about those crazy cg gamer forum types, but like a web 2.0 type simple, effective, professional and more exclusive.

Yes yes, I know... those aren't exactly web 2.0 but you get what I mean.

And most importantly, I'm not just talking here, cuz I'm an avid user of photoshop and I will be willing to fully create this skin or part of it, and help implement it too.

I think with a nicer look on the forum, the stay on here will be more pleasant as well!

ASC's fine how it is.

In the last 3 months It's changed more than it has in the past 2 years. I live ASC how it is :)

And if you scroll down to the very bottom of your screen you will see you can change the forum appearance between the many different styles of boring blue and boring grey.

Besides, you can change the skin colour (theme?) throught the drop down cell thingy on the bottom left of the site.

Bring it up with the admin. If you make a skin for it, you could probably get them to add it to the options.
The current look sure beats the black and blue, and the black and red look from back in the day.

Thing is it's not really about the colours...
It's more like a little more like getting it a bit more graphically appeasing and a nicer, more intuative layout

well the main reason we've stuck with skins that are very similar to each other is that when we make changes we only have to change one skin not a multitude. we had a problem with trader ratings not showing up in other skins because they had to be manually added.

The forum has definitely been through a huge number of modifications over the past .. what, 8 years?

I still miss the blue camo of the SoF/ASC board.
