Hicapa 7.0 with new slide
 

I had decided to scrap the 7.0 plastic slide but keep the outer barrel and tightbore barrel. May look strange but I kinda like it.

Got a new Davidson Custom slide for it. I actually ordered the wrong one, but I like the "wrong" one a lot, so I'm not complaining. There is a mirror finish on the sides, with the top and everywhere else having a brushed finish.

Newly installed with a Illusion-provided Airsoft Surgeon BBU and Hard Piston.
All other parts are stock TM. Shooting 330-340 FPS.

Who needs a flashlight when you can blind them with your shininess

I actually had trouble taking pictures with a flash. Had to take them at an angle from farther away!

Damn... That's one nice slide.

slide is nice but for the love of god change the barrel.

I love that slide. It's beautiful. But find it clashes with that black midframe, and I don't care for the protruding 7" barrel either.

I dig the protruding barrel. Pretty sexy. Same with the slide.

Maybe machine some port into the protruding barrel....might look interesting...

might work better though with a 7 inch straight barrel with bushing...

Is that barrel a bull barrel?

I can see a huge gap between it and the slide... I'd imagine you have some serious wobbling/accuracy issues...

If you switch to a straight 6 or 7 incher(I think they make those for SD chambers), you should be able to use a TM 1911 spec bushing with that to get better support. Davidson Custom/ProG4/Airsoft Surgeon seems to be the same slides and they should have 1911 bushing cut in them

Nah, seriously I like it. I'd get a 4.3 mag and chrome trigger though :)

Is it a tapered barrel yes, but I don't mind the bit of wobble. It isn't a bad tradeoff for FPS and range :D Guess I'll have to test it on the field.

I also don't want to waste the money I spent on the 7 inch kit. At least I'm using 2/4 peices I bought. Unless anyone wants to buy a 7 inch barrel and tightbore? :p

quite phallic... but yea doesn't the wobble still affect accuracy? The inner barrel is pointing all over the place no?
